Young Leaders Forum: Reflections and Future Visions Post-European Elections

The citizens voted! A new political cycle is starting in the midst of urgent matters to be tackled from security challenges to safeguarding democracy, consequences from climate change, competitiveness hurdles and others. This online events offers a platform for young voices from across the EU to reflect on the recent European Parliament elections, what the election results mean for the youth of Europe and to envision the future they want to see. It is more crucial than ever to take proper future-oriented policy action. Participants will explore youth engagement, policy expectations and possible directions for policymakers, aiming to shape a more inclusive, dynamic, and forward-thinking Europe.

Questions for discussion: 

  • Is the young generation interested and engaged in the EU processes?
  • What expectations are there for the upcoming 5 years from the young people? What should be the key priorities of the EU institutions?
  • How to foster a proactive engagement of young people (and citizens in general) in building the European future?
